Bubble Waffle Cafe

I ordered the veggie rice noodle soup with a fish soup base and it came with Chinese milk tea. ( this was excellent) . There were only two people working so service was slow, if in a hurry and wanting for a quick bite. I suggest trying another place. If one wants there specialty which is the $4.75 waffle delights. This may take 25-30 minutes. The noodle soup with rice noodles were good but portions were small. The price for the noodle soup and Chinese milk tea for $14.49 is fair. Bubble waffle cafe is located in the lansdowne food court. T and t supermarket also has a smaller food court that isn’t bad to try!

The boneless Hainanese Chicken with rice is a standout, priced at only $14.25 with a drink included, making it a great bargain. For an additional $1.50, you can enjoy their original bubble waffle, which is a must-try. The HK-style lemon tea and milk tea are both excellent and pair perfectly with the meals. Their Angus beef dry noodles combo is another highlight, packed with flavor. This spot is a go-to for quality food at reasonable prices, and the service is always friendly!

new review Not sure if the owner saw our previous feedback, but the food quality has improved a lot! Portion sizes are back to what they used to be, and everything was really good. The duck breast is now served as a full portion instead of just a few scattered pieces, and the drink had great flavor. Really happy to see the positive changes. old review I’ve been a loyal customer of this store for years, regularly getting my dinner there almost every Friday. I’ve always appreciated the reasonable prices, good food quality, and generous portions. However, I’ve recently noticed a significant decline in quality. For example, the duck breast noodle now has noticeably less meat — the portion of duck breast has been reduced by at least a third. The drinks, which used to be pleasantly sweet, now taste bland and watered down. On top of that, many of the vegetables have black spots and are no longer fresh; I’ve had to throw quite a bit away. With this drop in quality, I’m genuinely wondering how they expect customers to keep coming back.

I've only gotten drinks and bubble waffles from here so I guess I haven't experienced the bad things that other reviewers have experienced. The last time I ordered, I got an iced lemon tea and a plain bubble waffle. The cashier took my money, gave me my food and drink, and then gave me my change. The interaction took about 2 minutes which is great for me as an introvert.

It’s the best deal in the food court!! It’s not the best Laksa in the world, but it hits the spot. Ordered the Hainanese Chicken Laksa combo - includes a free drink, and optional bubble waffle for 1.50 more. My bill came to 16.22 for all of this! My laksa was FULL of meat, so much chicken and tons of noodles. I actually only ate half and brought the rest home!! The chicken was silky and flavourful. There’s a bit of cabbage and bean curd in the noodles. Broth was hot and nicely flavoured. The best part is the waffle. Just say yes and you’ll be happy you added it for 1.50. It’s warm and crunchy outside, soft and lightly sweet inside. A fun treat to share/eat.

This place serves Hong Kong style menu. This is my go to place for fish soup noodles. Quality is good and taste is good as well. Best of all the price is reasonable compare to other fish soup noodles restaurants. Their bubble waffle (雞蛋仔) is OK. There was a time the bubble waffles to be a bit greasy. Usually there is a line up during lunch time so it's best to go there earlier for lunch. Yummy....what is your favourite fish soup base? Mine is the parsley preserved egg fish soup base. Plenty of parking at Richmond Centre but you may need to walk a bit because nearby parking spaces fills up quickly.
